– The man was taken care of by health personnel at the scene and has been sent to hospital. He is described as seriously injured, says incident leader Annika Engebretsen in the Oslo police district to NTB.

A little after 3 o’clock, the police received several calls about shots fired in the area. When they arrived at the scene, they found the injured man inside a kebab restaurant at Grønland torg. He was conscious when the police found him.

According to witnesses, the shots probably came from outside and towards the injured man. Both employees and customers were in the restaurant when the shots were fired.

The police: Probably not by chance

So far, no one has been arrested, and the police have no specific suspects on the block either. They also do not rule out that there may have been more perpetrators.

The police suspect that the injured man is not a random victim.

– As we see it, it is most likely a relationship between the parties, says Engebretsen, without wanting to go into details.

Seizure on the spot

At the scene, the police have seized several objects, but do not want to answer whether a weapon has been found.

There must have been several people present, both inside the restaurant and in the surrounding area. The police have started questioning these people.
However, the victim has not yet been questioned.
