Zuuma gives a “taste of Norway” in Spain

--

The seafood fair ran over three days, from Tuesday to Thursday. On Wednesday, Salmon Evolution had an exclusive omakase experience at their stand. There, the skilled sushi chefs Andreas Ottosen, Vincent Caballes and Birhane Kidane from Zuuma prepared the salmon.

Many visited the Salmon Evolution stand.

We had a chat with Andreas Ottosen from Zuuma while he was in Barcelona.

– It is great fun to be at the seafood fair in Barcelona. For us from the restaurant industry, it is interesting and rewarding to experience this side of the industry. It’s also fun to see strong Sunnmøre companies showcasing their products under the same roof, says Andreas.

In October last year, Zuuma got salmon from Salmon Evolution on its menu. On Wednesday, the chefs from Zuuma were on hand at the Salmon Evolution stand. Andreas says the following about the collaboration:

– We are proud and humbled to collaborate with Salmon Evolution. We consider it a great honor that they trust us to front and serve their product. Working with people who value the craft we’ve perfected and want to work with us is huge.

– Everything from customers to banks and other suppliers visit the fair, says Andreas.

– The fishing fair is a place where we get to meet others in the fishing industry, make new contacts and meet new potential customers. The fact that the fisheries minister is here tells a little about the importance of this fair, concludes Andreas Ottosen.
