Cold air has characterized Sandefjord for the past week, and several of the nights have been below freezing.
But next week there are warmer days ahead. MET reports this on Twitter/X on Wednesday morning.
– The heat will soon come to southern Norway. Some places can feel temperatures of up to 20 degrees, they write.
The weather forecast for our municipality seems to offer varying weather in the coming days, before the spring heat finally arrives. At the start of the weekend, good weather and 10-12 degrees are forecast, before Sunday and Monday look to be both gray and damp.
Towards the end of next week, higher temperatures are forecast for both Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, as well as a good deal of sun.
– Over the course of next week, the high pressures and low pressures will position themselves so that warm air from the south comes up over southern Norway. This means that the lowlands are most likely finished with the night frost, writes MET.
There has been little rainfall in Sandefjord and our region recently, and earlier in the week the meteorologists issued a warning against the danger of grass and heather fires. You can read more about it here:
