Sport: Norway led 8-6 before the tenth round in Schaffhausen, Switzerland on Monday, but the aforementioned Edin delivered a magical final touch. Thus, Sweden equalized at 8-8, and the whole thing had to be decided with an eleventh inning.

Sweden was the best there, they won the half 2-0 and the match 10-8. Skip Niklas Edin is perhaps the world’s best curler, and the 38-year-old has the ability to decide matches under pressure.

Sweden had won all of their first four matches before the meeting with Norway in Schaffhausen, and with Monday’s triumph it was five in a row.

Norway won their first match in the group stage, but have since lost three in a row. On Sunday, they smoked for both the USA and Switzerland, and it’s starting to look really dark in terms of a place in the semi-finals.

Besides Magnus Ramsfjell, Gaute Nepstad, Bendik Ramsfjell and Martin Sesaker play on the Norwegian WC team.

Scotland are reigning world champions after they beat home favorite Canada in last year’s World Cup. Before that, Sweden had run away with the last four World Cup titles.
