Beaten up by the public and banned for life – Document

--

Iranian MMA athlete Ali Heibati has been banned for life from Russian MMA for kicking a ring girl in the rear during a match in Russia.

Enraged crowd

Heibati participated in a match against Armenian Arkady Osipyan in Moscow. After the athletes entered the ring, Heibati kicked the ring girl who announced the start of the first round, in the buttocks. She became angry and confronted the Iranian before the referee intervened.

The match was allowed to start and the referee declared his opponent Arkady Osipyan the winner with only 30 seconds left in the first round. He had considered it so that Heibati didn’t get up, but he did as soon as Osipyan turned his back on him. More people entered the ring to separate the two men.

World famous for being ugly

According to video footage that has spread virally on social media, Ali Heibati was later attacked by angry members of the public, pushed over chairs and beaten.

Apologize

Heibati later apologized to the call girl Maria via social media:

– Hello everyone, I was tense before the match and inside the ring I just wanted it to start. There was a lot of tension and emotion and it made me kick her. I didn’t admit my guilt after the game because they hit me in the head. I apologize. I am married and I respect the female sex.

Banned for life

Despite the apology, Heibeti was banned for life from MMA. He was fined, the entirety of which will go to the ring girl Maria.
