Rosenborg humiliated by fire

Brann drove over Rosenborg from start to finish in front of a packed Brann Stadium. It ended in fury for Ole Sæter when he was replaced and gave a heavy blow to the plastic on the substitute’s bench. The overrun from the home team did not stop until it was 3-0.

– I want to break Rosenborg into seven pieces. We almost do that too, says Sivert Heltne Nilsen to TV 2 after the match and continues:

– It is in history that when Rosenborg comes, we always have something to take revenge on. Spectators call me and say that “now you have to curse me to play well”, says Nilsen.

With the victory, Brann ensured top of the table. They are one point ahead of Bodø/Glimt and Molde, with two and one game more played respectively. Rosenborg, on the other hand, lost a bit of contact with the top of the Eliteserien, they are now in 5th place and are five points behind Brann.

It shouldn’t take more than 3 minutes before Brann player Ole Didrik Blomberg found his way to the back of the net. He gracefully celebrated with a backwards somersault in the sunshine.

Aune Heggebø then made sure to double the lead and Niklas Castro topped the cake with his 3-0 score.
