Last year, the relationship between former FrP leader Per Sandberg (64) and Bahareh Letnes (34) ended after five years.
– He will be the father of my children
For Bahareh, the time after the break-up has been challenging, especially with the responsibility for the Grand bar in Halden, which they took over together, and which she now runs alone.
– Now it’s just me. It’s fun, but I’ve also faced many challenges, says Bahareh.
Crying at work
To Se og Hør, the businesswoman tells that, among other things, she has had water leaks and several other problems. Despite the tough days, she sees every challenge as an opportunity to grow.
– I’ve had sad days and cried a lot at work, but it’s going well. I love all the challenges, because they give me the opportunity to find new solutions. That’s how I become a stronger business woman, says Letnes.
A child at heart
It is not always easy to shoulder all the responsibilities alone, but Bahareh is dedicated to running the business forward. When it’s time for vacation, Per steps in as a substitute, which shows the good relationship they still have.
– The bar is still a child of our hearts, even though we have gone our separate ways. I have asked Per if he can look after the bar four weeks a year, so I can take a holiday. Per is the only one I can trust, and who allows me to relax on holiday, says Bahareh.
Sandberg confirms to Se og Hør that he will take over the beer taps when the ex is away.
– It is just a pleasure to be able to assist Bahareh. A “comeback” for a few days behind the bar at the Grand will surely only be fun, says the former politician.
Done as a celebrity
In the future, Letnes hopes to expand the business with more bars, and is fully focused on business. Previously, she has participated in programs such as “Shall we dance”, “Camp Culinaris” and “Charterfeber”, and created the series “Per & Baharehs Grand Hotel” together with her ex-boyfriend.
Now, however, she feels completely done with celebrity life.
– I learned a lot during the time I was with Per, and was on TV a lot. It was educational and fun, but from now on I will focus exclusively on my work.
