Britney Spears shocked at luxury hotel – police and ambulance called

In scenes reminiscent of the breakdown in 2008, Britney Spears (42) raved about the celebrity hotel Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

In new photos, shared by TMZ, among others, you can see a barefoot pop star – only wearing underpants. In front of her upper body, she holds a pillow and a blanket.

Opens up after the divorce

Few thought that this was in the future for the young and beautiful singer when she broke through with the song “Baby One More Time” in 1999.

She had gone through the ranks in the Disney system and charmed everyone. The 42-year-old from Kentwood, Louisiana followed up the success with the albums “Oops!…I Did It Again”, “Britney” and “In the Zone”.

But life is not going so well with the southern girl. She has constantly been in the media’s spotlight due to her partly very turbulent private life.

Earlier this week, it became known that Britney’s divorce from Sam Asghari (30) – after 14 months of marriage – was final, and it was therefore naturally not the ex-husband who attended the Chateau Marmont.

Calls for intervention

The “Toxic” star had checked in with his former maid, Paul Richard Soliz.

But what should have been a pleasant meeting in luxurious surroundings ended in chaos, where both the police, ambulance and fire brigade had to step in.

At the center of the events was one of the world’s most famous artists.

According to TMZ, Britney arrived at the hotel late Wednesday night with Paul Richard. The police were called quite quickly by other guests because the artist allegedly “harassed and threatened hotel employees and guests”. CNN has also mentioned the case.

The police found no signs of trouble and left again, writes TMZ.

But then it must have taken off completely.

Britney and Richard are said to have returned to their room around 11pm, where they are said to have “partyed and drank”. Eventually, “a violent and physical confrontation” ensued, in which the pop star allegedly sprained her ankle, according to Page Six.

It was alleged that Britney was “screaming and out of control in the hallway of her suite” and that several guests thought she was having a breakdown.

An ambulance was therefore called.

Britney herself shared this post on Instagram about the incident:

“Just so you all know: This is fake news. I want to be respected and for people to understand that I am getting stronger every day. The truth sucks, so can someone help me with how to lie?” is among what she writes.

Furthermore, the pop star confirms that she sprained her ankle, and that paramedics came to her door unannounced, something they are not allowed to do according to Britney.

That’s why she shaved off her hair

“They never entered my room, but I felt harassed! I’m moving to Boston,” she continues.

The Daily Mail has spoken to the Los Angeles Fire Department, and spokesman Brian Humphrey summarized the effort:

– The emergency services received a call at 00:42 with reports of an adult woman who was injured. At 01.00 an ambulance arrived at the scene. I can confirm that no one was taken to hospital. We left the place at 01:17. The police were not called.

Britney, on the other hand, stayed outside with the emergency services, where she wandered around the parking lot in rolled-up pajama bottoms. She was offered a ride to the hospital, but TMZ reports that she refused to join the ambulance.

Later, Britney is said to have left the hotel with her bodyguard – without Paul Richard.

– Dated the maid after the breakup

The latter has been convicted of several criminal offences, such as illegal possession of firearms. Last September, he was convicted of violating his probation.

Britney met Paul Richard in May 2023, when he was hired to work on her property in Los Angeles. Another source revealed to US Weekly that he spends the night at Britney’s house a few times a week:

– She doesn’t like it when he leaves, but he has a full-time job and family obligations. Britney feels she deserves more attention, but he has to be there for his kids.

Britney has made headlines in recent years for her marriage and subsequent split with Sam Asghari, and for the FreeBritney movement linked to her long-standing guardianship. The guardianship officially ended in November 2021 after 13 years.

Throughout her life in the spotlight, Britney has experienced a series of ups and downs. In 2008, she had a mental crisis after her divorce from ex-husband Kevin Federline (46).

They were married from 2004 to 2007 and share sons Sean (18) and Jayden (17). Federline has full parental responsibility for both.

After the big personal problems, Britney had new success with the albums “Circus” and “Femme Fatale” in 2008 and 2011 respectively.

Britney is said to have a fortune of NOK 700 million, but according to American media, spends much more than she earns.
