“The game” on TV 2 has been on “everyone’s” lips in recent weeks, and especially the latest episodes have created several headlines.
In the programme, disagreements, lies and talk of alliances have arisen among the participants, and the viewers have also allowed themselves to get involved in everything that happens on the TV screen.
The participants have really experienced that, and actor Vidar Magnussen (46) can tell Nettavisen that he has never experienced a similar response.
Engaged viewers
Magnussen was low on the ground for a long time when it came to both bickering and alliance talk in the TV 2 programme, but suddenly took on the role of “evil” when he kicked out the season’s big player, Danby Choi (30), two weeks ago.

To Nettavisen, the actor, known from, among other things, “Side om side” on NRK, can tell that the messages have come in after the shock election.
– I have probably never received as many reactions as now. “Side om side” is something that engages a lot of people, but “The Game” has actually surpassed that, says Magnussen to Nettavisen.
Magnussen says that he receives messages daily, often with tips on what he should do next in “The Game”.
– It’s a shame it’s already been recorded, because I get a lot of good advice and cheers, he laughs.
– Will never see “Side by Side” again
However, the actor can reveal that even though it’s mostly positive feedback that’s been pouring into his inbox, he’s also had a bit of a backlash.

When asked what kind of banter it is, the actor says that there was a lot of reaction in particular after he voted out Danby Choi.
– I got a message from someone who said he should never see “Side om Side” again because I voted out Danby. So I’ve lost one “Side om Side” viewer, he says with a twinkle in his eye.
