Denmark: Massive search operation for 13-year-old girl

Danish Filippa (13) disappeared after she had distributed newspapers in the small village of Kirkerup in West Zealand. She has now been missing for over 10 hours.

Saturday evening and night there is a massive search operation for 13-year-old Filippa. The disappearance case is now receiving a lot of attention in Denmark.

The police have set up a kind of temporary police station in the village and have announced that they will work through the night to trace the disappearance.

Among other things, they have secured video recordings that they will review, they sign .

In addition to police and dog patrols, the Norwegian Armed Forces’ helicopter participates in the search, writes Danish TV 2.

– Utmost seriousness

The girl’s father has told Danish BT that he last spoke to the girl at 11.30 on the same day. Then she finished her newspaper route. She was reported missing at 2 p.m.

Found the girl’s bike

Several of the girl’s belongings were found on the roadside by Kirkerup Church, including her bicycle, purse and mobile phone.

– We found the bike, it had been thrown to the side and there are no signs that she has driven in there herself. We were the ones who found the bike, the phone and the bag, the girl’s father told Ekstra Bladet.

More than 300 residents have contacted the police in connection with the case, the police wrote on Twitter at 20.42, and are asking for further tips in the case.

– We have interviewed people who live on the route where Filippa has a newspaper route. We have questioned people who have a relationship with her, police inspector Kliver told the Danish news agency Ritzau on Saturday evening.

The police are working with several possible scenarios about what may have happened, but have not wanted to go into detail about what these scenarios are.
