On Saturday evening, the red-blonde, 160-centimeter-tall 21-year-old visited the Nöyet nightclub in Vetlanda in Sweden with two young women.

The following day, Tove was reported missing, as no one was able to get in touch with her. On Monday, the two women were arrested on suspicion of abduction.

According to information to Aftonbladet, the police must have secured several surveillance films from the night.

They are also said to have probed Tove’s phone in the northwestern part of Vetlanda, where the search took place on Thursday.

The police are now investigating clues that show Tove’s phone was in one of the women’s homes early on Sunday morning. That’s what Expressen writes.

The newspaper also writes that neighbors of this apartment should have heard noises from there at this time.

Girlfriend

Tove has been dating a boy from her hometown for a year and a half. Aftonbladet has spoken to the boy’s mother, who says that the son himself cannot bear to speak out.

The mother Cathrin says that the young couple used to be at their house a lot, but that the son recently bought an apartment in Vetlanda, which is located in Småland, south-east Sweden.

– I have not heard of her having any disagreements with these girls or anyone else. Everything is completely incomprehensible to me. She is the sweetest in the world, says Cathrin.

– We have such good contact, so if it had been about something serious, with threats or the like, I would probably have figured it out, she says.

At twelve o’clock at night, the three women are said to have been observed inside the Nöyet nightclub.

At about a quarter past twelve, Tove spoke to bar manager Linus Svensson.

– We sat at a table for about 10 minutes. She was looking for a friend and asked several times if I had seen the girl, Linus Svensson told Aftonbladet.

The bar manager did not perceive that there was anything special about Tove, apart from the fact that she seemed a little uneasy for her friend.

– She was still sitting at the table when I left, he tells the newspaper.

According to information to Aftonbladet, Tove will later have been observed at McDonalds, which is located a couple of hundred meters from the nightclub.

The two women, who were detained on Thursday morning, are, like Tove, from Vetlanda and are said to be acquaintances of hers.

Despite the large search effort by the police, rescue service and volunteers from Missing people, Tove has still not been found, five days after she disappeared.

The two suspected women deny having anything to do with Tove’s disappearance.

– My client refuses, that’s all I have to say, says Maria Birkhammar, who is a lawyer for one of the women.
