Shauna Rae: – The relationship is causing a stir

Reality star Shauna Rae (23) became a celebrity almost overnight with the TLC series “I Am Shauna Rae”.

The series follows Rae, who doesn’t look like any other 23-year-old. She is trapped in the body of an eight-year-old.

The 23-year-old’s body stopped growing after a treatment she received for a brain tumor when she was a child, which means that she now weighs 22 kilograms and is 116 centimeters above the ground.

However, she doesn’t let her size stop her, and the reality series follows Rae as she goes to bars, gets tattoos and talks about her sex life.

– For me, it (having intercourse, journ.anm.) was a confirmation that I can do what I want, because when I grew up I thought it wouldn’t be possible. When I got a boyfriend and it finally happened, it made me feel like a normal woman, she has previously stated in the series.

The relationship with the aforementioned boyfriend eventually ended, but now the reality star has found happiness again with travel blogger Dan Swygart (26).

However, it has caused some people to roll their eyes.

According to the New York Post, Swygart has received several comments that he is “sick” who consider Rae a romantic partner.

“If a man or woman can honestly say that they can see her as a sexual woman, then they are lying or they are sick”, one is said to have criticised.

Swygart now feels compelled to defend the romance.

– It is very important to remember that Shauna is an incredible 23-year-old with a disability. It’s important to acknowledge her disability and look past it, and create a relationship with who she is as an individual, he said in a video posted on Instagram.

– She is a human being. She deserves to have relationships and relationships with whoever she wants, he continued.

The 26-year-old also revealed in the video that he reached out to Rae after seeing her on the TLC series. Shortly after, they met and found the tone.

The reality star spoke candidly in an interview with the New York Post last year about how her size often means she is underestimated.

– When you look at me, you see an eight-year-old, but if you take the time to look at the details of my face, my hands, the maturity of my body and take the time to talk to me, you understand that I am a 23-year-old.
