– I like her very much. I think she’s good. Kristi has done a good job.

That’s what Donald Trump said about the Norwegian-born governor of South Dakota, Kristi Noem (52), at the latest last year, according to ABC News. Recently, she has been considered highly relevant as a vice-presidential candidate for Donald Trump.

But admissions about puppy murder and other sensational media reports may now have ruined the 52-year-old’s chances, several believe.

Crazy puppy: – Psychotic maniac

“Nasty and mean”

There are sources close to both Trump and Noem’s decision-making processes who now say this to ABC News.

The negative media reports against Noem began in earnest in March. It was as a result of a video Noem herself published, where she advertised for a dentist in another state. That sparked a lawsuit against her for misleading advertising.

Then came the media coverage of her own book, “No Going Back: The Truth on What’s Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward.”

In this, she admits that she shot and killed her own 14-month-old puppy, because it had an “aggressive personality” and that it was impossible to train it. She also says that she did the same with one of the family’s goats, which she describes as “disgusting and mean” because it was not castrated.

– Everyone understands that

Noem, who sat in Congress before becoming the first female governor of South Dakota in 2019, distinguished herself as one of the top Republicans’ warmest supporters of Donald Trump during his presidency.

At the latest in September, Noem is said to have said that she did not have to think twice about agreeing to become Trump’s vice-presidential candidate.

According to ABC’s sources, however, it is the aforementioned media reports, poor judgement, combined with an “over-auctioning” of herself in discussions about the vice-presidential candidacy, which seem to have severely weakened her chances.

Sean Spicer was Trump’s first press secretary in the White House, and will still be in contact with Trump’s team.

– Everyone understands that she killed her chances, in a double sense, he says to ABC News.

– Politically speaking, a bigger question is why someone thought that writing this in a book was a good idea. It’s like a job seeker unsolicited saying that they stole office furniture during a previous interview.

Noem’s press team did not want to comment on ABC’s case.
