David Pecker testified that he wanted no part of Stormy Daniels’ story about Donald Trump when Michael Cohen asked him to buy it because he was “not going to be involved with a porn star” — and that decision would leave Trump “furious.”

“I thought it would be very damaging. I thought it should come off the market. If anyone were to buy, I thought Michael Cohen and Donald Trump should buy it,” Pecker said.

National Enquirer editor Dylan Howard offered to buy the story for $120,000, but Pecker shot down the deal immediately because Walmart, AMI’s biggest distributor, would be furious if it was on their shelves.

When he relayed this information to Cohen, Trump’s lawyer said the “boss is going to be furious,” and that “if this gets out, the boss is going to be very angry at you.”

“He was upset. He said the boss is going to be furious at me and I should go forward and buy it,” Pecker said.

“I said, I’m not going forward to purchase it, I’m not doing it — period.”
