Accused

On Monday, charges were brought against the 16-year-old, the State Attorney’s Office writes in a press release.

– Through the investigation, it has emerged that the defendant and the 15-year-old boy knew each other from before and that they met in the early evening of 2 October 2023 at the place where the 15-year-old boy was found dead, says prosecutor Andreas Ekengren in a comment.

The evidence against the 16-year-old consists of, among other things, DNA traces, analyzes of mobile traffic and information he himself has given in questioning.

The boy has admitted that he used some violence against the 15-year-old, but denies having killed Myllykoski.
