The emergency services respond to a traffic accident between a car and a lorry in Bamble on Thursday evening.
Stuck in a car
The accident has occurred on the E18 at Bakkevannet, and an air ambulance has landed nearby.
According to police officers at the scene, work is being done to free a person from a car.
A number of emergency units are on site.

The police received a report about the incident at 9.25pm on Thursday.
– There is a total of five people involved. These are distributed among three vehicles, says operations manager Marius Fosvold in the Southeast police district to NTB.
It must be a rear-end collision.
The accident occurred in the southbound lane.
Long queues
The entire road is closed at the scene.
– There are long queues in both directions. Anniken Island, traffic operator in the Norwegian Road Administration, tells NRK.
There is a queue on the E18 in connection with the accident. Several cars try to turn around.

Detour goes via county road 363. This will be signposted.
– These are old E18. It is important to state that the bypass is not suitable for modular vehicle trains, she says.
