Patrik wasn’t the only one to give Warhammer 40,000: Darktide a very positive review when the PC version launched last November, but the game hasn’t lived up to everyone’s expectations. Fans have been particularly critical of the upgrade and crafting systems – two important aspects of the game. In fact, they have been so vocal about it that the developers at Fatshark have decided to take serious action.

— Warhammer 40K: Darktide (@Darktide40K) January 24, 2023in which they acknowledge that Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has not met fans’ expectations and have therefore decided to delay the Xbox Series versions, seasonal content and premium cosmetics to instead focus on making changes and improvements based on the feedback. For example, we’re told that the Craftig system and progression cycle will get some major overhauls as they continue to work on overall stability and optimization.
Not exactly something done at a moment’s notice, so Fatshark won’t share details about when the updates will be ready or when the console versions are scheduled to launch.
