Alone in the Dark launches in October

--

Pieces Interactive has confirmed that the remake Alone in the Dark will arrive just in time for the scariest season of the year. The survival horror game will debut on October 25th on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series consoles, and in addition to this information, Pieces has also confirmed some other interesting details about the game.

The biggest of which is arguably the casting news, as the developer has brought in David Harbor and Jodie Comer to portray the game’s two main characters, detective Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood, with both characters using the actors’ actual looks.

To follow this up, we’ve been told that the game can now be pre-ordered for £49.99 / €59.99, and that anyone who chooses to do so will gain access to the Derceto 1992 Costume Pack DLC, which will change the character models to the 1992 versions . Pieces also confirmed that Alone in the Dark will get a Deluxe Edition that includes more cosmetic options, including filters and developer commentary.

Finally, if you’re looking for a taste of Alone in the Dark ahead of its October launch, Pieces has also now released a short playable Prologue demo that revolves around the young girl you meet in the game, Grace, and takes place over a few weeks before Alone in the Dark itself.
