Spurs striker Richarlison scored his ninth and tenth league goals of the season.

But in overtime there was drama: Youngster Jarrad Branthwaite scored the equalizing goal five minutes into overtime and secured a point.

After a VAR check, cheers erupted at Goodison Park.

Before the late equaliser, Richarlison looked set to secure Tottenham’s second Premier League win of the week.

With his league goals number nine and ten, Richarlison now has a nice statistic to show for it:

He has nine goals in the last eight games.

The Brazilian gave Tottenham a dream start with a goal already before four minutes had been played.

Everton caused major problems for Spurs on set pieces. Jack Harrison troubled Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario time and time again.

After just under half an hour, the inevitable happened: Vicario was under pressure and was unable to knock the ball away.

James Tarkowski nodded the ball back into the box. Dominic Calvert-Lewin stood there and nodded it into the goal – via the aforementioned Jack Harrison, who was credited with the score.

Tottenham then hit back just before half-time: Richarlison followed up with a dream goal. The Brazilian bent the ball deliciously into the corner.

But it didn’t quite last. In extra time, Branthwaite equalized for Everton.
