Nettavisen has gained access to a Fifa Fifathe International Football Association.– document, which should state that footballer Normann has been sentenced to pay 2.9 million euros to his former Russian club Rostov.

NOK 33.2 million at today’s rate.

It was in November Fifa decided that Normann had to pay Rostov for illegal contract termination.

According to the Russian newspaper Championat, the Norwegian has appealed the case to the sports arbitration court CAS.

– We believe that we are absolutely right and will defend the club’s interests in all possible legal instances, said director of Rostov, Aleksej Ryskin, to Match TV two weeks ago.

Normann changed clubs after announcing the termination of his contract with Rostov and Dinamo Moscow, to which he was on loan at the time.

Normann sent in the warning after a drone attack that allegedly hit buildings near where he lived in Moscow. He therefore feared for his own safety and left Russia in August 2023.

He currently plays football for Al-Raed in Saudi Arabia. He has registered 12 international matches on his CV.
