Comedian Marlene Stavrum (29) has been admitted to hospital with acid poisoning.
– That was hard
She writes that herself on Instagram.
“Then I can cross acid poisoning off the bucket list. Finally got to test whether the prince really cares. Thanks to Lovisenberg who saved my life, grateful,” she writes to pictures from the hospital bed.
According to Helsenorge, acid poisoning, or diabetic ketoacidosis, is a complication of diabetes and needs immediate treatment.
The condition can be serious and fatal, although most people recover after treatment.
Diabetic ketoacidosis usually affects people with type 1 diabetes, which Stavrum has previously stated she has.
