Won prize

Senior doctor at Drammen Hospital, Wasim Zahid was one of the finalists in the category “Influencer of the Year – Health”.

It was Oskar Westerlin and Kristin Gjelsvik who presented the award. Gjelsvik says that the jury has been looking for a profile that sheds light on important themes, and that puts health and mental health on the agenda.

– With great passion and professional weight, this year’s winner inspires and engages this, says Gjelsvik on stage.

And it was Zahid who walked away with the win.

– I think it is incredibly funny that a 47-year-old Norwegian/Pakistani cardiologist who is a senior doctor in the medical department at Drammen hospital, wins an award like this! That means there is hope for everyone, says Zahid during the acceptance speech.

Influencers of the year – Lifestyle

The Hokksund girl Julie Lorentzen came away with the victory in the category “influencers of the year – lifestyle”. It was his wife, Camilla Lorentzen, who accepted the award for Julie.

– Since I’m the one standing here, there’s something I can do that I’m never allowed to do at home, and that’s bragging about my wife, she says.

The couple has recently shared openly about their dream of increasing their family.

– If there is one thing I am today, I am proud. I am proud of Julie who is a role model for young, queer people, because she herself needed it when she was growing up. I’m proud of Julie who dares to stand in the shit, and I’m proud to be on a team with someone who values queer rights, equality and openness so incredibly highly. Words become poor, says the wife.

– Meaning extremely much

In the category “influencers of the year: sustainability”, Hanne-Lene Dahlgren walked away with the victory. Among other things, the 37-year-old is current with the book “A proper cookbook”, in addition to being a co-founder of the influencer agency “Team Tomorrow”. Dahlgren also works with the takeaway concept Palett and has just over 66,000 followers on Instagram.

– This prize here means so much, because my co-finalists are the roughest people I know, says Dahlgren in his acceptance speech.

Dahlgren told Drammens Tidende in December that it was great to be among the finalists.

– The fact that you are recognized for something other than silicone tits, making fun of others on the internet and today’s outfit, that it is possible to be recognized for working for a better society, is very good.

Influencers of the year!

The prize for “influencer of the year” was awarded by Drammen’s Iselin Guttormsen and her colleague Sebastian Solberg.

It was a tearful Camilla Lorentzen who accepted the award for his wife and acorn, Julie Lorentzen.

– We dare to share, and Julie dares to share. It’s all well and good to have a lot of followers, but unfortunately there is a lot of hate. Daily we receive death threats and messages that we should stop loving each other, stop being gay, stop being who we are. And we have thought every single day going forward to show that: we actually don’t need that! The love we have for each other is as real as any heterosexual love, and we intend to stand by that for many years to come.
