LEARN: The police report on Thursday evening that there has been a home robbery in Lier.
The Oslo police have assisted in the case to gain control of a car, and in this connection three people were arrested. They have now been charged in the case, the police report at 8.50pm.
The Oslo police reported at 20:38 that they had carried out an armed stop and check of a car on Frognerstranda, and that this was in connection with the home robbery.
– It probably appeared dramatic to everyone who saw this from the outside, but the police carried this out with good control, says operations manager Bjarne Endal Pedersen to Avisa Oslo.
The road was closed after the incident, but has now partially reopened.
– The Oslo police solved it in an exemplary manner. They got control of the car and arrested three people, says operations manager Roger Aaser at the Søreast police district to Drammens Tidende.
Threat
He does not want to say where in Lier the robbery took place, or when it happened, other than to say that it was tonight.
It was the victim who reported the home robbery. Aaser does not yet know how many victims there are in the case. He says that no one was injured.
– There has been a form of threat, and there has been a degree of violence, but no personal injury that meant someone needed an ambulance or hospital treatment, says the operations manager.
Aaser says that physical force must have been used. The police do not currently know whether the various parties know each other, but he says that this is something the police will focus on in the investigation.
– Has something been stolen?
– Things are missing from the address, he says.
