On Saturday, the Meteorological Institute issued a warning about heavy snow in parts of Agder and Rogaland.

The warning applies from 11 a.m. Saturday morning to 9 p.m. Sunday.

The meteorologists warn of up to half a meter of snow in some places.

“On Saturday and Sunday, a lot of snow is expected locally, 25-50 centimetres, over approximately 300 metres. Locally in the mountains there may be more,” says the warning.

The danger warning is at the yellow level, which means moderate danger.

The meteorologists warn against difficult driving conditions, and ask people to calculate extra time on the road.
