Two buses have collided on Breidablikkveien. The police report it on X.

The road is blocked and the police are on the scene.

There were a total of four passengers in the two buses. No one should be injured.

The windscreens on both buses must be broken, says operations manager Trond Hangaas in Trøndelag police district.

– The buses stand in such a way that they block the Breidablikkveien and do not proceed on their own machine, says Hangaas and adds that it should be “extremely smooth” on the spot.

– The drivers themselves have contacted their own car recovery company, says the operations manager.

There should be some traffic at the site, according to traffic operator Per Slaatsveen of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. How long the road will be closed is uncertain, he says.

At 10:30 the police inform that the road is open again.

– The municipality has salted the stretch of road in the hope of better driving conditions, they write on X.

Head of urban management in Trondheim municipality, Per Øystein Karlsen, writes in an SMS to Nidaros that they are out salting the bus streets.

There will also be difficult driving conditions on the West Expressway. Here ATB reports that line 11 runs via Byåsveien due to the conditions, and that the stops Trøndelag Folkemuseum, Hammersborg, Schiøtz vei, Fagerliveien, Christian Jelstrups vei, Møllerbakken and Steinberget will not be served.
