On Sunday came the surprising news that the celebrity couple Cristian Brennhovd (23) and Caroline Nitter (24) had called it quits after a full two years as a couple.
Brennhovd first shared the news on his Instagram profile, and confirmed the news to Se og Hør.
Confirms violation
– It’s over between me and Caroline. We have had it up and down recently, but now we are completely done, he said on Sunday afternoon.
Now both Brennhovd and Nitter have sat down with Rød Løper to talk about the breakup.
– Haven’t been unfaithful
On the night of Sunday, Brennhovd published a series of posts on Instagram’s story function where he made several allegations against his former girlfriend.
Nitter, who has kept her cards close to her chest until now, reveals to Rød Løper that she does not recognize herself in the accusations.
Reveals details about the relationship
Brennhovd wrote that she had been unfaithful.
– No, I have not been unfaithful, says Nitter and adds:
– If I had been unfaithful, it would have been a new experience for me.
Broke up before Christmas
Both Brennhovd and Nitter admit that they broke up before Christmas, but that they changed their minds and quickly got back together. Nitter, for his part, believes that it has been very on and off since then.
Hooked on nude content
– Caroline thinks we broke up before Christmas. We did that. But we also changed our minds, we said we were going to be together. We also said that we should not sleep with others while we lived together, explains Brennhovd.
– Then things come to light that he might not know, and it’s my fault. I should have been more careful, counters Nitter.
Does it hurt
The former couple does not rule out that they might get back together one day. Brennhovd, for his part, believes that there is a lack of trust at the present time, and Nitter cautions that one should never say never.
– Runs hot
Both acknowledge that they have made mistakes in the relationship and that nothing is entirely the other’s fault.
– I’m in pain. I think this is pretty damn good, says Brennhovd in conclusion.
