Leah Isadora Behn’s tiara mystery solved

--

In October, it became known that Leah Isadora Behn (17) had been handpicked to participate in Le Bal des Débutantes” – one of the world’s hottest events that takes place in Paris.

Se og Hør has previously mentioned that Leah Isadora will be the first Norwegian girl to receive an invitation to the exclusive ball.

Never happened before: – Princess moment

Only 20 lucky girls from all over the world are selected, and on Saturday evening the time had finally come.

– From 1905

Leah Isadora had traveled to the venerable hotel Shangri-La in Paris to attend the debutante ball. Princess Märtha Louise’s daughter wore a powder pink dress designed by Italian fashion designer Giambattista Valli.

One detail of the outfit admittedly got a little extra attention during the weekend. Leah Isadora wore a tiara for the very first time.

At the weekend, it was still a mystery where Leah Isadora’s tiara came from, nor did Se og Hør’s royal house expert Caroline Vagle have the answer.

Wore Mysterious Diadem: – Surprising

– I see the discussions are fully underway online. So far, no one has found out where Leah’s tiara is from, but it is not among the known ones belonging to the Norwegian royal family. I see someone has speculated that it looks like a Dane to be sold now. But it’s not that one, Vagle told Se og Hør at the weekend.

Now, however, the diadem mystery has finally been solved.

– I learned yesterday that it is common to borrow a tiara from a jeweler at the debut ball, even if you should own one yourself or have it available in the family. Which Leah actually has. It turns out that V MUSE jewlery was the official jeweler for the ball this year, and the beautiful tiara Leah borrowed is from 1905, the royal house expert tells Se og Hør on Monday morning.

Debuted before Princess Ingrid Alexandra

V MUSE themselves have posted on Instagram that they have been behind this year’s Le Bal des Débutantes jewels, and in the history feature they have shown off the tiara that Leah Isadora wore.

Se og Hør’s royal house expert was mildly impressed by the 17-year-old at the weekend, and was also able to reveal that Leah Isadora debuted with a tiara earlier than the heir to the throne, Princess Ingrid Alexandra (18).

– Yes, in fact she debuts with a tiara before her cousin Princess Ingrid Alexandra, who only wore it six months after she turned 18. Leah is still only 17.
