Porn star Stormy Daniels testifies about sex with Donald Trump

Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, took the witness stand on Tuesday at 4.30pm, according to the BBC.

Stormy Daniels goes on to say that she ended up sleeping with Trump. According to the porn actor, he did not use a condom. She answered yes when asked if this was a concern, but she said nothing to Trump – as the act was said to have been short-lived.

Afterwards, Trump is said to have said that “it was fantastic”. Daniels says she left as fast as she could.

Trump denies having slept with Daniels.

Furthermore, Daniels tells about several meetings with Trump, including in Trump Tower and in LA. According to NBC, she was offered $15,000 for an interview in the weekly National Enquirer about the alleged affair.

– I freaked out. I didn’t realize who had leaked it. I said no at first, but they said they were going to pursue the case anyway, says Daniels.

She therefore decided to do the interview, so she could “control the narrative”, writes NBC.

New career after the Clinton affair

The weekly was owned by Trump friend David Pecker, who has acknowledged in court that he bought stories, and did not publish them, to protect Trump.

Daniels says she received many offers to sell the story of the alleged affair with Trump. But she had her doubts, especially after she was allegedly threatened to keep quiet by an unknown man in a Las Vegas parking lot in 2011.

Hush money

The reason she is testifying is because the former president has been charged with breaching the Accounting Act in connection with a payment of 130,000 dollars in so-called hush money to Daniels.

– The money didn’t mean anything to me, I didn’t choose a number, claims Daniels.

Setting fire to the divorce rumours

The amount, which corresponds to just over NOK 1.4 million, was payment to keep quiet about the affair she had with Trump, the prosecution believes. The payment was allegedly wrongly booked as legal expenses.

He is the first former president in US history to be indicted in a criminal case.

Trump’s lawyer, Susan Necheles, previously said she did not want Daniels to explain in detail about sexual acts, according to NBC.

Prosecutor Susan Hoffinger believes that the context surrounding the alleged sexual relationship in 2006 is important. She replied:

– There will not be descriptions of genitalia or anything like that… But it is important for us to find out that she slept with him, and how she felt about it, says Hoffinger according to NBC.
