Roy Keane calls Erling Braut Haaland a “spoiled bastard”

--

Roy Keane is not satisfied with what he saw of Erling Braut Haaland (23) on Saturday.

Sunday 5 May at 18:03

– We saw Haaland being taken off and being unhappy and behaving like a spoiled brat. But because they win and he scores four goals, it is almost forgotten, says the Manchester United legend on the Sky Sports broadcast on Sunday.

– “Spoiled bastard”. It’s okay if you score four goals, right? asks the presenter.

– No, not really, Keane replies.

On Saturday, Haaland scored four goals when Manchester City beat Wolverhampton 5-1.

But when the 23-year-old was replaced after 82 minutes, he was apparently unhappy with something.

– I can guarantee that he was happy today, said Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola after the match.

It is not the first time Keane is out and reporting against the Norwegian superstar. He has said earlier this season that Haaland’s court game is like a 4th division player.

Haaland was asked about Keane yesterday by Viaplay.

– That discussion around, that with Roy Keane among other things, is it something that turns you on?

– I don’t care much about that man, so it’s fine, Haaland told Viaplay.

Keane has a history with his father – Alfie Haaland – after injuring him badly during a match between Manchester City and Manchester United.
