Bodø/Glimt make several changes to the team that will meet Strømsgodset at Aspmyra on Sunday afternoon.

Nikita Haikin has recovered from illness and, as expected, takes his place between the sticks again.

But there are also a couple of other changes, which Glimt fans might not have foreseen.

Against Lillestrøm on Wednesday, both Fredrik Sjøvold and Jens Petter Hauge had to leave the field with injuries. Neither of the two is involved from the start against Strømsgodset.

Neither is Kasper Høgh, who is still matched cautiously after a long injury layoff.

A little surprisingly, it is Brede Moe who takes the place at right-back from the start. Into central defense comes Odin Bjørtuft. Albert Grønbæk starts on the left wing. This means that Ulrik Saltnes enters his favorite position as a left inside runner.

The leading position is occupied by August Mikkelsen. In addition, Nino Zugelj starts at the expense of Sondre Sørli on the right wing.

In other words, there are five changes from the start compared to Wednesday’s team.

This is how Glimt starts towards Strømsgodset:

Nikita Haikin – Brede Moe, Jostein Gundersen, Odin Bjørtuft, Fredrik Andre Bjørkan – Håkon Evjen, Patrick Berg, Ulrik Saltnes – Nino Zugelj, August Mikkelsen, Albert Grønbæk.

To TV 2 before the match, Knutsen explains the team selection:

– It has something to do with standing in the group. Some have little things that make them not ready for 90 minutes. Then there are players who I believe deserve an opportunity and have worked well over time. Then it will be this composition.

Sitting on the bench are: Kjetil Haug – Brice Wembangomo, Fredrik Sjøvold, Villads Nielsen, Adam Sørensen, Kasper Høgh, Jens Petter Hauge, Sondre Sørli and Oscar Kapskarmo.
