On the night of Sunday, the police went out to Breidablikk in Sandefjord after reports that two masked men with firearms had turned up at a party with approx. 15 women.

– It is currently unclear to the police whether the perpetrators have a relationship with the victims. Nevertheless, this is how the police assess the case, there is no reason for others living in the immediate area to be anxious about new incidents, says on-call lawyer Cecilie Reinskau Svorstøl.

There must be at least two perpetrators. These people are still at large and the police do not yet know their identities.

Deploys additional resources

The case has a high priority and it has been decided to invest extra resources in the work to investigate the case and to find the perpetrators.

On Sunday afternoon, the police will question those involved and carry out investigations in the immediate area, where one of the priority areas will be to see if there is camera surveillance that can show the perpetrators.

– The police are still in an early phase of the investigation and are working on many leads, and we also want tips from the public, says Svorstøl.
