TIL 2020 showed muscle when they took all three points against Avaldsnes. This is the second game in a row with a win.
An impressed Naina Inauen posed for an interview with iTromsø after the match.
– It has been the worst week of my life. Today I play for the girls and the women’s initiative in the north, says Inauen.
The team’s captain, Mali Trøan, scored the 1 – 0 goal after 25 minutes.
After 38 minutes, Trøan did the job again, when she rolled a penalty into the right corner.
– It has been a difficult week, so it was nice to just concentrate on the fine sport this is. So very nice with three points, says the two-goal scorer to iTromsø.
Avaldsnes reduced after 78 minutes through Ida Natvik.
There were no more goals and the Tromsø girls were able to leave the field with a 2-1 victory.

It has been a dramatic week for TIL 2020, which on Thursday parted ways with its head coach, Emil Inauen. He has led the team since January 2023.
Sunday will be assistant coach Edvard Vassmyr’s first game as manager.
Earlier this week, the board of TIL 2020 stated that they have full confidence that the current coaching team will take over the responsibility in a good way.
On Wednesday evening, the players learned of the board’s decision to proceed without Inauen. Some of the players reacted strongly emotionally to the news.
On Thursday, three players chose not to join training.
