The game, Martha Leivestad | Gets support after huge blunder in “The Game”: – Full understanding

Sunday’s voting in the TV 2 hit “The Game” could have had a completely different outcome than what several of the participants had expected.

Because when Martha Leivestad (30) was going up to the voting room and cast three votes against Anette Hoff (62), she accidentally managed to give three votes to her own teammate, Victoria Skau (25).

Leivestad has no problem admitting the mistake to Line Andersen (50), who has to change her votes to correct Leievstad’s mistake.

– What is very funny about it is that at this point Martha is completely red in the face when she comes to me, Andersen says to Nettavisen and continues:

– But all trust in the game is a choice, because we don’t know each other beforehand. So that in that situation I am no less naive than thinking that someone can of course play tricks on me. I have no reason to believe that Martha would want to do that. So it’s a two-sidedness.

Full understanding

Andersen says that she had no other choice but to trust that Leivestad had not deceived her. If that had been the case, it would have meant the end of “The Game”, no matter what choices she had tried to make.

– My only option was to resolve the situation as if I had not been deceived, but that I had corrected a mistake, she explains.

However, Leivestad is not the only one who has managed to make mistakes in the voting booth. Danby Choi (30) managed earlier in the season to forget that he was supposed to buy extra votes during a vote.

For viewers, it seems easy to question how it is possible to make such blunders in the most crucial and challenging part of “The Game”.

On the other hand, Andersen is clear in his speech that going to the voting booth is mentally one of the most challenging things you do in “The Game”.

– In this game, going to the voting booth is mentally challenging, and especially if you have to vote for people who mean something more to you, Andersen acknowledges.

– I fully understand that it can happen, she adds.

Nevertheless, she does not hide that it is typical and somewhat funny that it is Leivestad who makes this mistake.

– It can happen, and it also happened to ice-cold Danby Choi too, sort of. But it didn’t happen to many others, she laughs.

Martha Leivestad does not wish to comment on the matter.

Become a victim

Victoria Skau, who was accidentally voted for by Leivestad, also feels for Leivestad.

– I actually just think the whole thing was very sweet. That she just thought so much of me and had talked so much about me that she ended up voting for me, she tells Nettavisen and continues:

– Even though the voices went over me, I actually feel for Martha in that situation, says Skau.

In the end, together with Anette Hoff, Skau was the one who had received the most votes, and thus had to return home from “The Game” just before the final.

Skau felt close to victory, but realized she had no chance.

– I think it was really crazy, because I felt that I stumbled on the finish line. I was so close, but then I also realized throughout the day that I had no chance to turn it around.
