On Tuesday afternoon, the newspaper Fjordingen observed Tom Cruise (61) in Loen in Stryn municipality in North-West Norway.
The film star did not want to stop for an interview, but the journalist was allowed to take pictures and video of the American film star before he flew off in a helicopter.
The newspaper writes that Cruise probably jumped the base. Two men are said to have jumped from Hovenfjellet before landing in the garden at Hotel Alexandra, barely an hour before Tom Cruise himself arrived on foot.

Cruise is known for, among other things, the “Mission Impossible” films and “Top Gun”.
The hunt
On Sunday morning, the film star’s private plane landed on the island of Vigra in Ålesund.
VG began the hunt for Cruise already on Sunday, following tips that his plane was at Vigra in Ålesund.
The hunt was easier said than done. After a few hours, VG could confirm that he did not make the trip to Fjellstua, climb the Color Line Stadium or go on a beach holiday.
VG could neither deny nor confirm whether he was at a church service or went to the library to find an old family member.
– Maybe it was he who was here on Saturday. He wanted to both climb the floodlights without safety, and ride a motorbike on the stadium roof, wrote Henrik Mauren, media officer at Aalesund football club, in an SMS to VG.
Will not answer
Hotel Alexandra will not answer questions about whether the star has been at the hotel.
– No comment, said hotel manager Richard Grov when Fjordingen contacted him.
VG has not received a reply from the hotel manager.
– I heard that he was there a few days ago, but I have not met him, says mayor of Stryn municipality, Per Atle Kjøllesdal.
At 5 p.m., VG calls a tipster who says that she saw the Norgesaktuelle star at the hotel when she drove to work this morning.
– I was about to drive off the road! says the driver Ingunn Vanberg Bøe followed by a laugh.
– It’s not every day you see Tom Cruise on his way to work.
