Fake photo of Katy Perry abounds

On Monday, the big stars moved from Hollywood to New York for what is probably the highlight of the year in the celebrity world. At the Met Gala, the celebrities posed in their wildest, most beautiful and most outrageous outfits while the photographers snapped until the cramp took them.

Hard message: – Don’t want to

Pictures from the extravagant runner abound online and on social media, including of “Firework” singer Katy Perry (39). Now, however, she creates complete confusion. It turns out that the 39-year-old was never present.

Clueless roll around

On Instagram, the artist shares a series of photos of what looks like the singer on Monday’s runner. These have been shown to be made by artificial intelligence.

To the photo carousel, the 39-year-old writes: “Couldn’t attend MET, had to work”.

If you scroll further through the pictures, you can see a screenshot from the star’s message exchange with Perry’s mother, who had seen the pictures of her daughter from the Met Gala.

“Didn’t know you went to the Met. What a beautiful dress, you look like a rose parade, you look like your own raft,” Perry’s mother wrote in a text message to her daughter.

“Mum, AI (artificial intelligence, editor’s note) has tricked you too, be careful!”.

Several media have mentioned the fake photos, including People.

In the same photo carousel, the “Wide Awake” singer shares a video of himself in a music studio, which apparently explains his absence.

Admits: – Kissed another

In the comments section, several people say that they were deceived by the pictures.

“My God, were you in the studio????”, says a follower.

“KI, fooled us, dear,” writes another.

“I thought you had teleported,” admits a third.

Sumptuous dresses

Perry has attended the Met Gala several times, and often attracts attention with her unique creations.

Among other things, she has taken the runner in a graffiti dress, a red full-covering veil and huge wings. In 2019, she appeared dressed as a chandelier, and at the after party she had changed into a hamburger costume.
