Adopted by Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman: Living out of the limelight

In the 90s, “Mission Impossible” star Tom Cruise (61) and Australian actress Nicole Kidman (56) were one of the hottest couples in Hollywood. The duo married in 1990, but separated eleven years later, in 2001.

That’s why it ended

Kidman has previously said that it was Tom who suddenly wanted to divorce, and that the breakup came like lightning out of the blue.

While Cruise and Kidman were still together, they adopted daughter Isabella (31) and son Connor (29).

Despite the fact that both parents are big Hollywood stars, the adopted children have never been much to see in the limelight.

Live outside of Hollywood

Daughter Isabella has had to create her own life herself, far from Hollywood stardom.

In 2023, several foreign media could tell that the 31-year-old had settled in south London, England, together with her husband Max Parker and their pet – a lizard.

She doesn’t look like this anymore

She allegedly turned down her father’s offer to live in one of the penthouses he owns in the Corinthia Hotel in London back in 2020.

Back in 2015, Isabella and her husband Max got married in the Church of Scientology in London. Before the wedding, the duo are said to have dated for a couple of years, after they had been introduced through mutual friends.

Neither Cruise nor Kidman are said to have been present at the wedding. Several media outlets, including the Daily Mail, were then able to report that the parents had not been invited.

Only a small group of close friends are said to have attended the wedding, and Isabella’s brother Connor also stayed away in an attempt to keep the ceremony a secret, according to the British tabloid newspaper.

Works as an artist

According to Instagram, Isabella currently works as an artist, and on the account she has shared several photos of her art.

On her own website, it appears that drawing has been a part of her life since she was a small child.

“Bella has been drawing ever since her little hands could pick up a pen. Since that time, she has developed in her art,” the website says, among other things.

In 2018, she also started her own brand, “BCK”, where she sells everything from t-shirts to shopping nets, with her own art on them.

Religious

Like Cruise, both Isabella and her brother Connor were raised as Scientologists. Back in 2019, Kidman was asked about her thoughts on her children being part of the religion:

– Motherhood is about the journey. There are going to be incredible highs and lows, whether you are an adoptive mother or a birth mother. What a child needs is love, she told The Sun at the time, adding:

– They have made the choice to be Scientologists. It is our job as a parent to always show unconditional love.

New family

Despite the fact that Isabella and Connor are rarely seen in the limelight, recently the 56-year-old showed off his two youngest daughters, Sunday Rose (15) and Faith Margaret (13), on the red carpet.

It was during the American Film Institute Life Achievement Award Gala on Saturday that she brought her daughters, who she has with her husband Keith Urban (56).

– There is the love of my life, and the loves of my life. My daughters have never been seen in public with me on a red carpet before. Tonight, Sunday and Faith are here, Kidman said, according to People.

After the divorce, Cruise has also become a father again. The “Mission Impossible” star married actress Katie Holmes (45) in 2006. In the same year as the wedding, they had daughter Suri Cruise (17).
